Greg Keresztury, our Director of Operations, seems to have the ability to be in several places at once here at camp. Since joining the staff at YMCA Camp Ockanickon, Inc. early in 2016, he is pretty much involved in every aspect of the running of our busy camp programs. On most days, he can be seen in a golf cart, darting from place to place within our 800-acre property. Greg’s an unassuming guy, but it’s easy to tell that he’s clearly in his element here. Greg has an interesting background; he has a law degree and spent several years working as a lawyer before landing his dream job at camp. His path to a camp career was a bit indirect, he admits, but intuitively, he pretty much always wanted to be here – ever since his first summer as a Lake Stockwell camper came to an end. You can read Greg’s story online and in print on Sunday, Nov. 5 in the Burlington County Times, as he will be featured as one of the 2017 Emerging Leaders in the county. In the meantime, here’s more about the Emerging Leaders:
