Boys & Girls Outdoor Leadership Development
BOLD & GOLD offers the opportunity for youth to develop leadership skills in a diverse group of peers. While hiking or canoeing through the wilderness of the South Jersey Pine Barrens and overcoming challenges together, youth have the opportunity to develop courage, confidence, emotional intelligence, community awareness, and a sense of wonder – all necessary skills for success in school and in their communities.
We offer two different types of one-week trips for our 2021 BOLD & GOLD program:
- Pinelands Boating and Hiking
- Pinelands Hiking

Campers spend the first and last couple of days at camp, and nine days out on the trail. They backpack on a spectacular section of the Appalachian Trail and canoe down the peaceful waters of the Delaware River.
All trips are led by our experienced instructors who hold certifications in Wilderness First Aid, CPR and Lifeguarding.
Here is the detailed packing list– if you need something, please make that known on your registration form so we can be prepared.
