Overnight Schedule & Activities

Daily Schedule

TIME ACTIVITY DESCRIPTION
7:30 am Wake Up Time to wake up for another magical day at camp! Brush your teeth and wash your face! No need to change for the day though, PJs are always welcome at breakfast.
7:50 am Flag Raising KPs and JPs go to the dining hall to set up for breakfast. The rest of camp makes a big circle around the flagpole. Counselors-in-Training (CITs) lead camp in the Pledge of Allegiance and a USA themed song.
8:00 – 8:30 am Pajama Breakfast Yum! Time for breakfast! The most important meal of the day! There are lots of food options to choose from. Clean up and head over to the bowl for The Daily Gleam.
8:45 am The Daily Gleam Leadership staff lead camp in Thought of the Day and morning announcements. Morning announcements include what’s for lunch, daily forecast, astrology, joke of the day, news from the outside world and more!
9:00 am Cabin Cleanup Time to make your bed and tidy your cubby! Each camper gets an assigned chore for the day. The VC (Unit Leader) will inspect all the cabins in the village by lunch. Cleanest cabin of the day is announced at dinner.
9:40-10:30 am 1st Period Activity Juniors have a set schedule they follow with their cabin. In addition, they have two Junior Choice Periods; Period 1 and Period 4.

Seniors create their own schedules on Sunday and Wednesday.

10:40-11:30 am 2nd Period Activity
11:40- 12:30 pm 3rd Period Activity
12:45-1:30 pm Lunch! I’m starving! KPs and JPs set up for lunch.
1:30-2:30 pm Rest Hour Everyone back to their cabins for some much needed down time.
2:40-3:30 pm 4th Period Activity Junior Choice Period.
3:40-4:30 pm 5th Period Activity
4:40-5:20 pm Cabin Time A special time with you cabin. Your counselor and camper in different activities each day from a nature walk, searching for the Matolly Block or making a project in Arts & Crafts.
5:20-6:00 pm Showers & Mail VCs will deliver packages and mail to your cabins. All campers shower during this time.
6:00 pm Dinner KPs and JPs set up for dinner. Time to announce inspection scores, evening program and see if anyone received a pony (mail from Ocky or Stockwell).
6:45-7:45 pm Chill! Open activity time! Campers can independently choose where and what they want to do. Staff are stationed around camp at activity areas.
8:00-9:00 pm Evening Program VC creates each night’s evening activity. Evening activities can be anything from a scavenger hunt, a late night swim in the lake to tomahawks at Ocky. Each session we have a talent show and a themed dance with Camp Ockanickon.
Candle & Bedtime Yawn! What a busy day! During candle campers discuss a topic. After it’s flashlight time. Goodnight!

Evening Programs

Campfires, scavenger hunts, talent show, swim parties, socials with Camp Ockanickon, overnights, culture night, and more!
