This past Saturday I took advantage of the snowy weather and took the dog for a walk around camp. Every so often I’d catch a glimpse ski tracks here or there. Now, we got some snow, as Joe’s post pointed out a couple days ago – but only barely skiing weather. We still had plenty of rocks, roots, and other fun things poking up at us all along the trails.

As we rounded the bend by Blueberry Hill, we found the lone skier – smiles ear to ear making his way through camp. I regret to say that I did not get his name as we exchanged pleasantries, but his impact was not forgotten.

Life throws plenty of chances our way. While the conditions may not always be ideal, it’s what we make of the opportunities that counts.
