Hello all…
This weekend, Camp hosted another wedding at the Matollionequay Dining Hall.
We couldn’t have asked for better weather and a more beautiful and serene day overall.
Congratulations to Mitch and Pamela on their union and thank you for sharing your special day with us.
I would like to offer a public and very personal thank you to ALL the staff that made the day so amazing. From the housekeepers, making sure the facilities were sparkling clean… to the Maintenance crew, who pulled out all the stops making sure the area surrounding the Dining Hall at Matolly, the path to the amphitheater looking over the water and the roads were in perfect shape… to the Group Services crew who offered a hand parking cars and then helped around the kitchen and Dining Hall for the duration of the event… and to my kitchen crew for all their hard work preparing a gorgeous and delicious feast. Without any of these players working together for one goal in mind… giving the happy couple a day to remember… the day might not have been as perfect as it was.
Teamwork here at Camp… and in all our lives… is critical for success and ultimately, happiness. I feel blessed to work with such a great group of individuals and meld with all the Departments here at Camp to make everything we do an amazing experience for all who step foot on our sandy soil, under the canopy of the tall pines here in Medford.
Thanks for letting me share my thoughts and feelings and I hope it gives you, our readers, a little insight to what goes on around here to make Camp anawesome place.
