On 800 acres in convenient Medford, NJ, our camp and our professional staff provide campers with a positive environment. Our facility nestled in the Pine Barrens is complete with all the amenities to ensure that a camper’s time with us is memorable. Forests, trails, lakes, professionally built challenge courses, water inflatables, a nature center, an air-conditioned indoor sport court, craft center, a spacious dining hall and dedicated program areas enable us to provide activities that aim to foster new relationships, build self-confidence and teach new skills. Our camps will positively impact your child for a lifetime.
The Lake Stockwell Day Camp programs provide an exceptional experience for the first-time camper, as well as returning campers. From water activities and sports to creative arts, each day is packed with safe, age-appropriate activities, new friends and personal growth. Our YMCA affiliation means we include the Y’s 4 core values in every aspect of our programming, demonstrating the importance of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility.
Our rates are affordable and we offer multiple session discounts! We also offer sibling discounts, military service discounts and payment plans so you can be assured you are getting the best price.
The Lake Stockwell Preschool Program for ages 3-4 has a morning session (8:30 to 12:00) and a full-day option (8:30 AM to 4:30 PM) where our youngest campers participate in crafts, outdoor fun, games and more. Before Camp Care is available from 7 AM – 8:30 AM, and After Camp Care is available from 4:30 PM – 6 PM for an additional $10 for each AM or PM period.
The Lake Stockwell Day Camp for ages 5-11 operates daily from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm with Before Camp Care (7 am – 8:30 am) and After Camp Care (4:30 pm – 6 pm) options available. For maximum flexibility, you may choose any combination of our 10 one-week sessions from June 26 to September 1.
Campers aged 12-15 participate in our Explorers Program which is designed to fit the needs of our young teens. Explorers participate in regular camp activities plus get to experience our Challenge Courses where they learn teamwork, communication skills and leadership. Weekly field trips to exciting destinations round out the Explorers Program.
For ages 14-15, we offer outstanding camp leadership experiences, the Leader in Training (LIT) or Counselor in Training (CIT) programs where campers develop leadership abilities and hone their life skills.
Campers of any age can also sign up for our outstanding after-camp programs, including Beginner Swim Lessons, Horseback Riding and Skill Development Programs.
