Let’s kick off the New Year with a hike! All are welcome to join the YMCA of the Pines hiking club for a winter hike, after the hike join us for hot chocolate at the Ocky Dining Hall. This hike is FREE to members, non-members are $10 per guest pass, per person. This hike will be approximately 2-3 miles and approximately 1 hour long, kid friendly. If interested, please sign up by texting @hikeymca to the number 81010. In case of inclement weather, the hike may be cancelled, you will be notified via text alert through @hikeymca. Pre-registration is not required but is preferred. You can let us know you are coming through our Facebook event.
Please meet inside the Welcome Center (brown cabin at the main entrance – main entrance sign will say Camp Ockanickon). All participants must be present in the office to check in. Members please wear your member tags. Non-members need to sign a program waiver and anyone 18 years and up must present a driver’s license (photo ID).
Please dress appropriately for the weather, layers are suggested. Please wear proper footwear as some areas of the trail have uneven ground and are covered in leaves.
