What a magical evening at Cherokee Beach yesterday! It was our 2nd Family Friday to be held at Cherokee Beach and not only did we have plenty of swimming and boating…but we had a very special performance from Magic Mike!
For those of you who do not know of Magic Mike, he is a local Magician who came out to wow all the Family Members. Now I am not one for magic, but Magic Mike actually called on me to be part of one of his magic tricks! Here’s what happened:
Magic Mike asked me to give him $20, which I did. I wrote my name on the $20 and he showed the audience my name which was in sharpie. He then made my $20 turn into $1……which made me sad. About 30 minutes later, he called me back up and when he took his shoe off there was a lemon in his shoe (which blew my mind) and when he cut it in half……there was my $20 bill! Needless to say I spent my Friday night scratching my head.
