You might not have caught it, but George Washington made his crossing across Lake Stockwell this morning right before leading the Ockanickon boys over to the bowl to raise the flag. Today will be full of Independence Day themed ativities here at camp.
Also, congratulations to the Ocky, Matolly, and Stockwell CIT’s who did a remarkable job last night at the Medford Fireworks Celebration over at Freedom Park. Our CIT’s put some hard work into organizing a child friendly play zone with a number of camp style games and activities. The kids were engaging, safe, and demonstrated exactly what it means to be fun, caring, responsible young adults. Well done!
