Thank you to all of our staff and volunteers who helped out getting Camp spruced up over the past week and giving our prospective families some amazing tours! As you can imagine, the winter weather was pretty rough on the property and it took a lot of work to get the things ready for Open House. It meant a lot to us that so many of our summer staff came in to help the year-round crew with the clean-up effort. A big thank you goes out to Nurse Peggy’s husband and son, Dave Sr. and Dave Jr. for all of their hard work on Saturday and to Maggie and Elizabeth Gutierrez for running the “Slime” activity at Open House. Because of everyone pitching in, Camp looked terrific for all of the families who came out for tours on Sunday. I think we’ll see many of them joining us this summer at Ockanickon, Matollionequay, and Lake Stockwell. If they were impressed with Camp in March, wait till they see it in June, July, and August!
