Arts and Crafts, Sports and Games, and So Much More!

The School’s Out Program curriculum is based on the YMCA’s approach to child care. As the national leader in child care programming, decades of experience and expertise has gone into the refinement of the program.

Site supervisors develop monthly lesson plans that allow children the opportunity to participate in activities such as: arts and humanities, character development, math, literacy, science and nature and quality homework time. We offer young people diverse experiences for learning through developmentally appropriate activities and practices. Our programs incorporate three major components:

Homework Assistance

Every child will have access to quality homework time when School’s Out staff members will be available for support.

In addition to providing the School’s Out Program in your child’s school, YMCA of the Pines also has an 800-acre camp at 1303 Stokes Road in Medford. Families have the option to register students for the School’s Out at Camp programming on selected school holidays. See the School’s Out at Camp page for more information.
