We are optimistic that we will be able to operate summer camp in some capacity this summer, although nothing is certain, and we remain in communication with Burlington County Health Department officials, in addition to the ACA (American Camp Association) and other expert authorities for guidance. However, due to the COVID-19 outbreak, we will not be able to host our inaugural Ocky and Matolly Family Camp Weekends (scheduled for the weekends of June 12 and 19, respectively). Given the nature of the pandemic and the uncertainty it brings, we do not have a reschedule date to offer at this time. If we are able to offer this program in the fall we will be in touch, but otherwise, we hope to get this weekend off the ground in 2021.

Please contact our registration department (Registration@ycamp.org) and advise whether you would like one of the following:

  1. To convert all or part of your registration fees to a donation – your support during this time is more crucial than ever;
  2. A full refund of the program fee paid.

We hope that you will consider donating a portion or all of your registration fees to YMCA of the Pines. We are certain that once we resume operations, the need for both our programs and financial assistance will be greater. Currently, we have adjusted our programming to meet our community’s needs during these difficult times. We are providing emergency child care services to essential personnel at no cost to those families, we have collected and donated PPE to front-line medical workers, and more!

However, we understand that these are difficult times for all, and will of course provide a full refund of your fees paid as well. Please note, if we do not hear from you by 5.27.20 with your preference, we will issue a full refund (therefore no action is required if you would like a full refund).  Please allow 2-3 weeks for processing the refund.

We were really excited to get these programs off the ground, and the initial response we received has been very positive. We hope that you will consider the program in 2021, and partnering with us to spread the word on what we hope will be a fantastic community-building weekend for all participants. With that said, we appreciate your support of our camp community, and please know that we will continue to be here for you should you need anything at all – please do not hesitate to reach out.
