Hello everyone!! My assistant Nick turned me on to this interesting and healthy alternative to classic Tuna Salad. If you are looking for a fresh spin on lunch, give this Avacado Tuna Salad a try! Ingredients: 2 - 6 oz cans (or packets) tuna in water 1 avocado 1 celery stalk, chopped 1/4 red onion, chopped 1 tablespoon olive oil 1 tablespoon lemon juice salt and pepper Instructions: 1. Signs….Signs….Everywhere Signs

This past week I learned how to use what I consider one of the coolest machines we have at Camp….The router. The router is primarily used to make all the signs located around Camp.  I personally feel like we cannot have enough signs around Camp, so this week I started to make some new signs. As Standards Visitors for the American Camp Association, Keith and I were on our way to a Girl Scout Camp in Monmouth County yesterday morning to help them with their re-accreditation process.  We were driving on I-195 in Ocean County when I saw a sign informing us that we were crossing over the Metedeconk River.  I instantly became very excited because Camp Ockanickon was originally located on the Metedeconk River for its first few seasons starting in 1906.  Being a Camp history nerd, this was a big deal to me!  This was the first in series of events that took [...]
