Greetings to everyone on this Easter morning!

We, at Camp, have had a very special weekend indeed… starting with our annual Breakfast with the Bunny on Saturday morning. Over 200 folks came out to see our furry friend, eat a delicious breakfast prepared by myself and our staff, share some community spirit and, most importantly, celebrate Easter with us.

After filling up on big breakfast spread including scrambled eggs, pancakes, french toast, bacon, sausage, fresh baked muffins, fresh fruit salad… just to name a few… the guest of honor made an appearance. The Bunny posed for photos and then joined the entire crowd outside for the Big Egg Hunt!!

It was an absolutely gorgeous Spring day and I saw big smiles everywhere I looked.

Thanks to everyone who helped and volunteered to make this event possible… from preparing food to setting up the dining hall… and an extra special thanks to the Bunny for coming a long way to be with us!

Today, I awoke at 5:30 am in order to prepare a gorgeous continental breakfast for the Faith Presbyterian Church and their congregation who came out for their annual Easter Sunrise Service held on our own Leigh Cobb Memorial Chapel Island on Stockwell Lake down at the Ockanickon side of Camp near the dam.

It was a bit chilly this morning but as the sun rose so did the temprature and everyone’s spirits on this glorious day.

Thanks you to all who came out to spend this special day with us and I personally thank you for the donations made to Camp. Your generosity to the Camp and your graciousness to me today is truly wonderful.

Be good…
