As sad as it is to see summer end, it’s a great challenge to get ready for next year. It’s time to start the process all over again. We’re excited to look for new ideas to implement next summer to make it even better than this summer. We’ve had a lot of good ideas from many of our staff and campers and I think they will have a big impact on our program. This past summer, we changed up our schedule to give our older campers at Ocky more opportunities to choose their activities. We also introduced 2 Carpetball tables, which were a huge hit (right, Kevin, David, and Valerie Sherman?!!). We hope to have many more built for next year. We are also in the planning stages for a Woodworking Activity for 2012. Our amazing staff have made all of these new programs possible. We are really at a crossroads where we can try some new things and grow our programs. Thanks so much to all of our amazing staff members who make Camp better every year. I can’t wait for next summer!!!
