Hello from School’s Out at Nokomis School!

During the Winter Months, we enjoyed many Holiday crafts from Snowmen made of cotton balls to glittery Christmas ornaments and reindeer with red noses! During one session, Adele  role-played the art teacher! She had each child depict their own family Christmas Tree.

January brought more snow and that inspired us to create a variety of snowflakes. We used everything from toilet paper rolls to pasta!

Another project that is both fun and educational is our weekly letter creations – Last week, we did “J” and were wowed by Steven Estacio’s  Jack-in-the-box….Jack ACTUALLY popped out of the cardboard box he used!
