Hey folks! If you have visited Camp recently, or plan to visit soon, you will notice that the lakes look... well... a little empty. "Why?" you ask... well, I was wondering the same thing. Over all the years of working and living here at Camp, I never really knew why we lower the lakes every fall through the winter. Hello Friends... Every day here at Camp can be considered a special day. A warm Summer night with the smell of marshmallows roasting over a campfire. A cool Spring evening with a symphony of critters and insects of all shapes and sizes emerging from their winter slumber. A snow covered Winter landscape where everything seems to be frozen to the point of complete stillness.
