camp-matollionequay-leadersLIT and CIT Programs Develop Leaders

LIT (Leaders-In-Training) Age 15 and completed 9th Grade

LIT A: Sunday June 25 — Saturday July 15 (This Session was FULL for Matolly in 2016)
LIB B: Sunday July 30 — Saturday August 19 (This Session was FULL for Ocky/Matolly in 2016)
Price: $2,045

The LIT program is a 3-week program designed to give participants the opportunity to learn the skills and qualities required to lead groups in identifying and achieving their goals. LIT’s will develop these skills by participating in discussions, group work and by observing others. LITs will role play leadership scenarios, participate in group discussions, learn the behind-the-scenes work at camp.  Time for personal development is built into the schedule, as LITs will work on resume building, life skills and other personal growth areas.  Traditional camp fun is also offered with a leadership twist, as LITs will lead groups in songs, games, and skits, and plan and execute special events at camp.

This program is very selective. We are looking for candidates who are serious about broadening their leadership skills and who aren’t afraid of hard work. Our focus is also to incorporate the YMCA Four Core Values of Caring, Honesty, Respect, and Responsibility in everything that we do.
