Hello dear readers…

It’s been a while since I’ve posted a cool new recipe or one from the archives… or a heartfelt editorial or a magical picture… and for that I apologize.

Please know that we, in the kitchen, are all really, really busy feeding all the hungry campers at Matollionequay, Ockanickon and Lake Stockwell!!
Did you know that we serve, on average, 1,400 meals per day here!?!?

My crew of 10 (myself included) split between two facilities, spend our days preparing the best camp food around, serving it up fresh and hot… paying attention to special dietary needs of some of our campers… all while keeping a strong focus on the safety and sanitation of our facilities.

I am very proud of my Staff in the kitchen. They work very hard and extremely efficiently. At the Ockanickon Dining Hall we serve 5 meals per day and never miss a mark!!!

We have a great mix of people from seasoned veterans, second year, returning International staff and a few first year Internationals.

It’s been our pleasure to serve all of the campers thus far this summer season and look forward to feeding all of the campers yet to come.

I’ll get back to you soon with another great recipe!!

Be good…

Chef Jason
