Hello everyone…

“All work and no play” is not something you’ll hear anyone around Camp say. There’s always a little time to unwind or join in on some fun!!

As I drove by the Matolly field yesterday late in the afternoon, I recognized a very familiar face. Gab, our Matolly Camp Director and my better half, was joined in an exhilarating game of Monkey Ball with our youngest village, the Cherokees.

Monkey Ball appears to be, from my inexperienced view, very similar to Soccer, except you use your hands instead of feet to bat the ball around on the ground in an effort to score goals. Gab informed me that the ball never gets picked up… just swatted and passed around on the ground… much like you might see a monkey do, if he or she were so inclined!

I stopped to snap this photo of our fearless Matolly Camp Director (below, in the black top) mixing it up with the Cherokees and having a fabulous time!!!

Be good…
