Hello dear readers…
Over the past two weekends in a row Camp has hosted two beautiful unions here on our property.
The weekend of November 1st, 2nd and 3rd saw Matt and Jamie Lynn (pictured below) and their wedding party here for the entire weekend for one of our unique “Weekend Wedding Getaway” packages… starting on Friday night with the gang enjoying a full blown BBQ rehearsal dinner. The beautiful couple were wed on Saturday afternoon and celebrated into the night. On Sunday, we witnessed the most unique “Bouquet Toss” you could ever imagine… the actual flower bouquet was stuffed inside a pumpkin and hurled over 100 yards with the aide of a trebuchet. On Saturday November 9th, Pat and Bet (pictured above) arrived at Camp with their friends and family to join in Holy matrimony and enjoy an evening of great food, great friends and a really great live wedding band that packed the dance floor. I “Live Instagrammed” much of the day from a “Behind the scenes” perspective which you can also find on our Instagram stream.
Hosting events like these in our very unique setting is such a pleasure for myself and all the Camp staff as we get to share the beauty and charm of Camp and in turn the couples share the start of the newest chapter of their lives together with us… and we couldn’t feel more honored.
As a wedding gift to all the couples who chose to tie the knot on our hallowed grounds we offer up a full membership to the Camp in the hopes that they continue to visit us and keep Camp close to their hearts.
All of us here at Camp wish Matt and Jamie Lynn… and Pat and Beth… all the love and luck in the world as they begin their lives together as married couples.
